Eloquence in the Defense of Liberty

Alumni Philodemica is the alumni community of the Philodemic Society of Georgetown University. We formed on September 30, 2012, to promote debate and oratory at Georgetown—primarily by supporting the activities and endeavors of the Philodemic Society—and to foster a strong alumni community.

We work to carry forward the Society's motto of Eloquence in the Defense of Liberty in our lives after the Hilltop. By building and cultivating the broad community of Philodemic alumni and connecting them to current members we can strengthen debate and oratory at Georgetown University and beyond for years to come.
